We study a family of solutions Einstein-non linear sigma models with $S^2$ and $SU(2) \sim S^3$ target manifolds. In the case, are smooth everywhere, free conical singularities, approach asymptotically metric cosmic string, mass per length that is proportional to absolute value winding number from topological spheres onto $S^2$. This gives an interesting example relation between charge. The case $SU(2)$ generalizes stationary solution found in Eur. Phys. J. C (2021) 81:55 parallel waves non-planar wavefront $\mathcal{W}$. prove these $\mathcal{W}$-fronted sub-quadratic classification Class. Quant.
